I help high-capacity Christian leaders get clear about who God created them to be, discern what matters in their present season, and move boldly into what's next.
For nearly 40 years, I've been helping people grow—as a pastor, spiritual mentor, leadership developer, prayer leader, and coach.
And over those years, I've discovered something: People often know something needs to change before they know what needs to change. That's where I do some of my best work.
I help people slow down enough to see clearly, listen to what God may be doing, recognize patterns they can't always see for themselves—and turn that clarity into practical decisions and action.
You might call me a football coach for your soul.
I Believe God Has Been Forming You for a Reason.
Your life isn't random. Your gifts, personality, passions, strengths, experiences—even some of the difficult things you've walked through—have helped form who you are today.
But in seasons of transition, it can be surprisingly difficult to see yourself clearly. Questions begin to surface:
- Who am I now?
- What still fits—and what doesn't?
- What is God doing in this season?
- Where should I invest my life?
- What do I need to say Yes to?
- What do I finally need to say No to?
Those are important questions. And you don't need quick answers. You need the space, process, discernment and courage to get underneath them.

I don't believe my job is to hand you my answers for your life.
My job is to help you see more clearly.
I listen. I ask direct questions. I help you recognize patterns. I challenge assumptions. I pay attention to what God may already be stirring.
And then we work together to turn revelation and insight into decisions, priorities, rhythms and action.
Because clarity is valuable. But clarity is meant to lead somewhere.

I care deeply about both. Spiritual insight without action can become stagnation. And action without inner alignment can eventually leave you successful on the outside—but hollow on the inside.
I want to help you bring the two together.
A Little of My Story
I spent nearly 35 years serving as a spiritual leader in Boston. Those years gave me the privilege of working with people from an extraordinary variety of backgrounds and settings—pastors and ministry leaders, educators and students, nonprofit and business leaders, seminarians, neighborhood leaders, and people simply trying to faithfully live the life God had given them.
I also served as a prayer leader across the city and invested deeply in spiritual formation and leadership development. Those experiences shaped the way I coach today.
I learned to listen. To discern. To ask good questions. To look beneath the obvious problem. To recognize what God may be doing in a person or group. And to help people find the courage to respond.
Today, I live in Richmond, Virginia, and lead Greater Formation, where I coach leaders who want to live and lead with greater clarity, alignment, focus and fruitfulness.
